Geogrid

Geogrid is a high strength geosynthetic reinforcement material designed to improve soil stability, load distribution, and structural performance in civil engineering applications. Manufactured from HDPE, PP, or polyester (PET), geogrids feature an open grid structure that interlocks with soil, aggregate, or fill materials to enhance bearing capacity and reduce deformation.

Available in uniaxial, biaxial, and triaxial configurations, geogrids are engineered for different load directions. Uniaxial geogrids provide high tensile strength in one direction, making them ideal for retaining walls and slopes. Biaxial geogrids offer strength in two directions and are commonly used in road base reinforcement. Polyester geogrids with PVC coating are preferred in long term structural applications due to their high creep resistance and durability.

Geogrids are widely used in road construction, railway stabilization, embankments, retaining walls, and ground improvement projects. They reduce settlement, extend service life, and optimize material usage by minimizing the need for thick aggregate layers.
