PAV 901 Pneumatic Actuated Ball Valve – Threaded 2/2 Way

PAV 901 pneumatic actuated 2/2 way ball valve is designed for reliable automated on/off flow control in industrial and commercial pipeline systems. It provides fast and efficient shut-off operation and is widely used in automation applications where precise control and durability are required.

The valve body is manufactured from brass or carbon steel depending on the model and application requirements, offering strong mechanical durability and resistance against corrosion and pressure. The internal ball is made of stainless steel, ensuring smooth rotation, reduced wear, and long service life under continuous operating conditions.

Sealing elements are made of PTFE, providing excellent chemical resistance, low friction, and reliable tight shut-off performance. The full bore design ensures minimal pressure loss and maximum flow efficiency.

The pneumatic actuator operates using a rack & pinion mechanism, converting compressed air into rotary motion. With a recommended operating pressure of 4–6 bar, the actuator rotates the ball 90° for fast and consistent opening and closing, ensuring stable torque output even in high-cycle industrial environments.

Two actuator configurations are available: Double Acting (DA) — compressed air is used for both opening and closing; Spring Return (SR) — the valve automatically returns to a fail-safe position using spring force when air supply is lost.

Threaded connections allow easy installation into standard piping systems. The ISO 5211 mounting standard ensures compatibility with a wide range of actuators, and the NAMUR interface enables integration with solenoid valves, limit switch boxes, position indicators, and positioners for seamless PLC/SCADA control.
