Pneumatic Butterfly Valve Lug Type (DA/SR) PN16

Pneumatic actuated butterfly valve is designed for reliable automated flow control in industrial pipeline systems requiring strong connection, easy maintenance, and high operational reliability.

The valve features a lug-type body design, allowing installation between flanges with bolted connections on both sides. This design enables end-of-line service, meaning the valve can be removed or maintained without shutting down the entire pipeline system.

The valve body is manufactured from epoxy-coated ductile iron (GG25), providing excellent mechanical strength and corrosion resistance. The disc is made from stainless steel, ensuring durability and long service life under continuous industrial use. The sealing element is EPDM, offering reliable sealing performance and compatibility with water, air, and general industrial fluids. Optional materials such as NBR, Viton, or PTFE may be available depending on application requirements.

The pneumatic actuator operates using a rack & pinion mechanism, converting compressed air into rotary motion. With a recommended air supply pressure of 4–6 bar, the actuator rotates the valve disc 90° for fast and efficient opening and closing.

Two actuator configurations are available as defined in the product variants: Double Acting (DA) and Spring Return (SR). In Double Acting configuration, compressed air controls both opening and closing operations. In Spring Return configuration, the valve automatically returns to a predefined fail-safe position when air supply is lost.

The actuator mounting follows ISO 5211 standards and is compatible with NAMUR interfaces, allowing integration with solenoid valves, limit switch boxes, and positioners. This ensures seamless integration into PLC and SCADA controlled automation systems.

Each product variant represents a specific nominal diameter and actuator type.
