The PP1020 Pneumatic Water Hammer Valve is designed to prevent pressure surges (water hammer) in pipeline systems caused by sudden flow changes such as rapid valve closure or pump shutdown. The pneumatic piston mechanism absorbs pressure shocks and stabilizes the system, protecting pipelines, valves, pumps, and equipment from damage.
- Body Material: Stainless steel (AISI 316) for high corrosion resistance and long service life
- Sealing: PTFE for reliable performance and chemical resistance
- Operation: Compressed air (4–6 bar), fully automatic — no manual intervention required
- Normally closed: Opens under controlled conditions to release pressure
