Slotted Spring Pins, also known as split pins or roll pins, are hollow cylindrical fasteners with a longitudinal slot that allows them to compress during installation and spring back to exert a constant radial force against the hole wall. This self-locking action provides a secure, vibration-resistant fit without the need for additional locking elements.
Manufactured to DIN 1481 standard from high-carbon spring steel or stainless steel, these pins are widely used in mechanical assemblies, automotive components, agricultural machinery, and general engineering applications where reliable, reusable fastening in shear and alignment applications is required.
